While some people were breaking out the cake to celebrate the Queens birthday, a horde of unicyclists were meeting to celebrate the sport of Unicycle Hockey.
This competition saw the addition of a new team to the competition in the NBUC Pirates as well as a scratch team, the Newtown Sloths. With well over 50 riders AUHL3 was the biggest tournament held so far.
Nine teams took part in the tournament which involved two pools and finals.
SWS Wombats were undefeated to finish top of pool A with NBUC Stingrays replicating this feat in pool B.
In the final the Stingrays led 5-4 at halftime, but Wombats came home strong to win 7-9
It was an action packed game with many skilled goals.
The SWS Vikings who were the previous tournament champions took third place.
